Last week, Pinnacle President and CEO, Bob Johnson, hit the road again to visit our long-time client, Stewart's Shops, in Ballston Spa, New York. Stewart’s Shops has been in business for more than 70 years, continually evolving to meet the needs and changes of the industry. Today there are over 335 Stewart’s Shops located in 31 counties across upstate New York and southern Vermont, with two thirds of our shops selling gas.
This week, Pinnacle hit the road again to visit our long-time client, Double Quick, in Indianola, Mississippi. We were fortunate to have Double Quick's Vice President of Information Technology, Howard Hyche, as Master of Ceremonies this year at our annual Pinnacle Summit! Summit 2017 brought together clients from around the country and valued industry partners across the spectrum- into a group environment that promoted best practices, collaboration and future innovation.
Our time at Double Quick afforded us the opportunity to see the Pinnacle Palm POS in action in a number of the Double Quick locations- as well as see the fine-tuned operations, spotless store management, and outstanding customer service that has made Double Quick a community leader in Mississippi. Double Quick convenience stores also utilize Palm POS for their integrated quick-service restaurants and newly opened travel plaza that we were fortunate to tour during our visit.

This week, Pinnacle and Worldpay, a leading provider of electronic payment solutions, announced they have jointly completed and certified the integration between the Pinnacle Palm POS™ and Worldpay payment processing host; the combined solution is now compliant with EMV®, the global standard for credit payment cards using chip card technology.
Last week, Pinnacle team members attended the Conexxus Annual Conference in Annapolis, Maryland. Conexxus is a non-profit, member-driven technology organization dedicated to the development and implementation of standards, technologies innovation and advocacy for the convenience store and petroleum market.
